Electric vehicles are making their debut in Hong Kong, signalling an imminent growing trend for efficient SUVs and intelligent technology.

DEEPAL S07 will premiere in a Hong Kong car show from February 22 to 23 at Taipo Mega Mall. This model is a collaboration between DCH Motors and Changan Automobile, urging eco-friendly and smart mobility. In the next three years, the award-winning DEEPAL aims to launch nine more models globally.

“Vehicle electrification is an important direction for future development,” says a spokesperson from the Changan Southeast Asia Business Unit. “The DEEPAL S07 adopts advanced new energy technology to reduce carbon emissions, aligning with global sustainable development trends.”

The main target customers include those who are concerned about environmental protection, and value intelligent driving experience with luxurious travel. Compared to previous models, the DEEPAL S07 features yacht-inspired interiors, a panoramic sunroof, an electric sunshade, as well as a 14-speaker audio system and a 15.6-inch touchscreen. Hong Kong actress Venus Wong, who sees driving as her “me-time” praises the car seats for their comfort, describing them as “warmly embracing passengers” and making S07 an ideal choice for drivers.

“As a driver who values both sustainability and practicality, the DEEPAL S07’s spacious and comfortable cabin, intelligent safety features, and extended range make it the perfect vehicle for daily commutes and family road trips,” Venus adds.

“Its luxurious cabin design and efficient energy management system make it stand out in its class,” Alex Pan, CEO of DCH Holdings, agrees.

The S07 stands out in the market, not only for its style and design but also for its versatility. Available in two versions—standard range and long range—S07 caters to different driving habits, whether for daily commuting and long-distance travel. The standard model is at HKD$248,880 and the long range one costs HKD$266,880. Car enthusiasts can also enjoy an early bird discount of up to HKD$16,000.
